Design and Innovation is a constant process that needs new creative approaches to convert into tangible outcomes. Design thinking involves application of design to a problem-solving methodology using empathy as the key element to identify and resonate with its audience.
Today science and technology, has made it possible to transform out of the box ideas into reality. The lines between the possible and probable are blurred, helping re- imagine speculative design ideas. We need a fresh approach; we need disruptive thinking that can build an invisible bridge between the What If? And the Why Not?
AYDA helps designers to explore these possibilities and yet bring about a perceptible consequence through rational thinking.
AYDA is Nippon Paint’s biggest CSR activity and serves as a great platform where budding designers connect with the industry experts globally. AYDA Awards is not just a competition but a global platform for young designers to get mentored by the best industry experts. It is instrumental in grooming the thoughts of these young minds help them discover meaningful design. AYDA is global and there is a lot of learning that the students gain from this format.
The International Industry exposure provides students with access to resources across the design world. The platform encourages competitive learning which allows the designers to assess their standing with respect to the best minds in the industry. It is an opportunity for young designers to meet and interact with peers from top design institutes across the country.
The process is an enriching experience, which inculcates creative thinking and challenges the students to come up with path breaking ideas. In turn this allows the discovery of young minds who can bring in innovation with fresh ideas.
Design Industry needs such platforms and formats where design ideas can be transformed into meaningful realities.
